No School On Monday, September 3, 2012. Hope your Labor Day is restful.
Please be advised that there is a temporary walkway at the southwest entrance to the front of the school for walkers. Construction is ongoing there and the present sidewalk is being removed. Please talk to your children about following the temporary walkway that is cordoned off with a safety fence and many cones and safety tape. The construction crew is working diligently to do what they need to do and get the replacement in as soon as they can. We ask that you be patient with them and discuss the importance of practicing safety with your children.
Florida continues to make great strides in providing affordable health insurance for our children. In the past two years, Florida’s uninsured children rate has dropped from 16.7 percent to 12.7 percent. With the new “Kids Oughta Be Covered” campaign recently launched by the Florida KidCare program, we hope to continue to see the number of uninsured children decrease. To find out if your child is eligible, visit the Florida KidCare website or call 888-540-5437.
